FROM OBSERVATION TO COLLAGE - a four-day exploration of drawing, painting, and process with guest instructors CHRIS WEST and KATE RAPHAEL

Each morning, Chris will lead you through exercises in seeing and drawing shape and form. In the afternoons, Kate will introduce her exciting and distinctive approach to painting with scissors, using the morning’s drawings as a springboard for colorful collage. Day one will begin with a survey of no-point, single-point, and two-point perspective with guest artist, RAY LANDY.

The days will be filled with group energy, imagination, and experimentation. You will leave with drawings, hand-printed collage papers, experimental pieces, and the materials and know-how to continue.

Tuition of $565 includes all materials (which you will be able to take home -a $150 value).

Class size is limited to 8 participants.
